Firefox OS — the new mobile operating system from Mozilla Foundation — just had a big debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, announcing partnerships with big-name phone manufacturers such as Alcatel and ZTE as well as wireless carriers including Sprint. Now Twitter has announced support for an app on Firefox OS.
Twitter engineer Manuel Deschamps says Twitter for Firefox OS will be available when the first devices begin to ship later this year. The app will just like Twitter's mobile apps, with the same Home, Connect, Discover and Me tabs.
